Flu vaccine and flu clinic schedule updates and reminders

Please review for flu clinic schedules for vaccine administered by Occupational Health Services (OHS). More will be added in the coming days/weeks. Additionally, OHS is partnering with nurse management staff to provide flu vaccines for colleagues at a number of other facilities. Please read for a list of clinic schedules and updates.

Through Tuesday, Sept. 17, more than 637 employees, 21 attending physicians, 23 volunteers, and 14 contract workers have been vaccinated.

The off-campus clinics below will be offered flu vaccine by Occupational Health Services staff at the following locations, dates, and times:

  • Meadowmont Wellness Center
    Oct. 22, from 8 - 12:30 p.m.
  • Cary Wellness Center
    Oct. 24, from 2 - 4 p.m.
  • Hedrick Building
    LOD classroom
    Oct. 29, from 1 - 4 p.m.
  • Shared Services
    4400 Emperor Blvd., Morrisville
    Oct. 9, from 12 - 4 p.m.
  • Carolina Crossing Eye and ENT
    Oct. 15, 1:30-4
  • Eastowne
    Buidling 500 and 700, 2nd floor conference room
    Oct. 30, from 8 - 3:30 p.m.

***OHS is partnering with Nurse Managers. If you have questions about whether you can receive vaccine on your unit, please ask your manager. If you are given the flu vaccine on your unit or in your department and your Employee ID badge is not scanned electronically, you must complete the Non-Occupational Health Services Provider form found on the flu page: http://news.unchealthcare.org/empnews/flu
