Smith of Seaboard 18 to be Guest Chef this month

Nutrition & Food Services is delighted to welcome Jason Smith, Chef/Proprietor of Seaboard 18 in Raleigh, to join UNC Hospitals' Executive Chef Shawn Dolan and Nutrition & Food Services Director Angelo Mojica on Wednesday, Sept. 25. Smith will provide a cooking demonstration and offer a lunch special on patient menus and in the Terrace Café for our patients, visitors, and co-workers.

Chef Jason will be featuring a special of grilled mahi mahi bibb lettuce salad with peaches, cucumbers, goat cheese, basil vinaigrette and bacon jam.

A demo of Chef Jason preparing the dish will be in the lobby of the Children's Hospital at 11:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. The dish will be available in the Terrace Café from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
