    • More than 100,000 patients using My UNC Chart
    • 2,309,617 clinic visits since Go-Live #1
    • 165,992 Emergency Department visits
    • 1,907,477 e-prescriptions written
       
  • Scope
    • 3 hospitals using Epic@UNC (Chatham Hospital, Rex Hospital, UNC Hospitals)
    • 228 clinics using Epic@UNC
    • 62 clinics set for Go-Live #3 on May 5, 2015

  • Care Everywhere
    • Providers exchanged 310,414 patient records with 142 other hospitals/clinics in 39 other states in 2014.
       
  • Training
    • 20,916 employees trained to use Epic@UNC
    • 9,753 Epic@UNC Training classes
       
  • Technical
    • 7 planned downtimes to apply system updates to improve user experience
    • UNC Hospitals, Rex Healthcare, and Chatham Hospital are recognized as Stage 6 hospitals on the Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
    • 1 successful disaster recovery test
    • 1 Epic@UNC upgrade from the 2012 to 2014 version of Epic's software
We recognize that Epic@UNC is not perfect and that there is still much work ahead of us to improve its efficiency, workflows, and the user experience.
