Domestic water shutdown in Neurosciences Hospital

At 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9, the domestic water system from the 3rd floor to the 8th floor of the Neurosciences Hospital will be shut down for a system tie-in for Bone Marrow Transplant Unit project. During this time water will not be available for flushing, hand washing or drinking on these floors. The UNC Hospitals plumbing shop will provide water on each floor for flushing plumbing fixtures, as needed, and bottled water for patient and staff use. The shutdown will last three to four hours.

Please excuse any inconveniences this shut down may cause as we expand our service options to the people of North Carolina. If you have any questions, please contact Plant Engineering at 984-974-0300.
