2015 BD Technologies Nursing Research Fellowships Announced

The UNC Health Care Division of Nursing is pleased to announce the 2015 BD Fellows and their topics of interest.

The 2015 BD Nursing Research Fellows and their topics of interest are:

  • Corrine Arundell and Walter Whitaker (3 Anderson) - Topic: Hospital to Home
  • Jennifer Macdonald and Brooke Mclaughlin (CCU) - Topic: In-patient Diabetes management
  • Matthew Remer, Jeffery Trott (Peds PICC Team) - Topic: IV therapy

BD Technologies Nursing Research Fellowships support clinical nursing research in the acute care setting with the goal of improving patient care. Over the course of the Fellowship, these three teams of clinical nurse researchers will work closely with Dr. Smith-Miller (UNC Health Care) and Dr. Cheryl Jones (UNC-Chapel Hill School of Nursing) to develop their studies and disseminate their findings.

We are excited about the work these nurses will be doing to improve patient care and look forward to sharing their results with you.
