Eleventh Annual Silent Auction in support of UNC Hospitals’ Beacon Program

Join us at the Hampton Inn in Carrboro from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Feb. 4 for the Eleventh Annual Silent Auction in support of UNC Hospitals' Beacon Program. Honorary co-hosts are Brian Goldstein, MD, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of UNC Hospitals, and his wife, Lisa. Categories of items this year are sports memorabilia, jewelry, getaways, home and garden, wine and dine, art, gift baskets, and a live auction. All donations are tax deductible. Auction proceeds will be used for services and programs.

Lead sponsors for the event are Molly Maid of Chapel Hill and the Miss Molly Foundation, UNC Health Care, and News Talk 1360 WCHL: Chapel Hill-Carrboro’s News, Talk, & Tar Heels Station.

The UNC Hospital’s Beacon Child and Family Program provides comprehensive, coordinated care to UNC Health Care's patients, families, and employees experiencing a variety of family violence. It includes services for children, victims of domestic violence, and the elderly. The program has assisted over 1,000 patients and families and 36 employees. It provides medical and psychological assessments, counseling, and education for patients.  Services are provided at UNC Hospitals, its satellite clinics or over the phone.
