State Employees Combined Campaign starts Oct. 2

The UNC family has a tradition of giving back to the community – Giving is Good Medicine. This year’s four-week State Employees Combined Campaign kicks off on Monday, Oct. 2, and ends on Friday, Oct. 27. Participate in the campaign to help our local community, as well as for a chance to win great prizes!

Ways to Give

Each employee will receive an email each Monday during the campaign from providing an overview of the campaign and an individual link to log in. You can once again make your donation online -- an easy, convenient, and secure way to support your favorite charity with multiple search options available that will make it even easier to find the charity of your choice. Online donations may be made by credit card, payroll deduction, or PTO donation.

Please note that the code required to log in and donate is unique to you. It should not be shared with or forwarded to other coworkers. If you use a code provided to you by a coworker, you are donating as the person who gave you the code.

In addition to online giving, paper forms will be available to those who do not have access to email - or have limited to access to email. They may obtain a form from their department head/manager/supervisor. Print and complete your donation form and give it to your department head/manager/supervisor, or contact Tezrah Garner ( or 984-974-7789), chair of the Employee Engagement Team at UNC Hospitals, to submit the form directly to her.
