18th Annual Marc J. Mass Memorial Distinguished Lecture

April 13, 2023 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Please mark your calendars for the 18th Annual Marc J. Mass Memorial Distinguished Lecture Thursday April 13th, 2023 at 10:30am in MacNider 321. This year’s trainee nominated speaker is Dr. Joshua Rubin M.D., Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis.

Dr. Rubin is an accomplished physician-scientist and Professor in the Departments of Pediatrics and Neuroscience at the Washington University School of Medicine. Over the course of his career, he has made substantial contributions to the field of pediatric neuro-oncology both as a clinician and as an investigator. Recently, Dr. Rubin’s lab has been on the leading edge of elucidating the molecular mechanisms driving sex differences in high-grade gliomas. Dr. Rubin has an extensive record of trainee success, mentoring undergraduates, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, medical students and junior faculty throughout his nearly 20 years at Washington University. The 2023 Planning Committee is thrilled to present Dr. Rubin to speak to the Department in the tradition of the Annual Marc J Mass Memorial Lecture.

See the attached flyer for more details and be on the lookout for trainee sign-ups to meet with our speaker. We look forward to seeing you on April 13th!

Sincerely,
