2026 Summer Institute in Evidence-Based Teaching & Course Design

The Summer Institute in Evidenced-based Teaching & Course Design will provide instruction on best practices in teaching & learning and strategies for contemporary education challenges during four half-day online sessions.
The virtual workshop has been designed and organized by the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy’s Center for Innovative Pharmacy Education and Research (CIPhER) and will be co-led by nationally and internationally recognized pharmacy education experts.

- Produce a practical project to improve key aspects of teaching
- Define powerful, evidence-and research-based strategies and techniques
- Demonstrate transferable skills and knowledge to share and disseminate
- Identify strategies for completing research/scholarship publishing on projects
- Demonstrate effectiveness as a leader/facilitator of academic innovation
