20th Annual Pathology Marc J. Mass Memorial Lecture featuring Guest Speaker Dr. Jennifer Richer

The 20th Annual Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Marc J. Mass Memorial Distinguished Lecture will take place on Wednesday, April 16th at 10:30am in Bondurant G100. This year’s trainee-nominated speaker is Dr. Jennifer Richer, Ph.D., from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.

Dr. Richer is a distinguished scientist and mentor with over 25 years of expertise in steroid hormone receptor action in breast cancer. She is a tenured Professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, where she was appointed Graduate School Dean in 2023. Her laboratory employs cutting-edge cell and molecular biology techniques to investigate endocrine therapy resistance in women’s cancers and identify targetable proteins that drive tumor progression. A dedicated mentor, Dr. Richer has an outstanding record of trainee success. Her mentees have received numerous prestigious fellowships including multiple NCI F31, F32, and F99/K00 research awards, as well as DOD and ACS Fellowships. The 2025 Student Planning Committee is honored to welcome Dr. Richer this spring to speak in the tradition of the Annual Marc J. Mass Memorial Distinguished Lecture.
