Dr. Coyne is a Professor in Children’s Nursing & Co-Director of the Trinity Research in Childhood Centre. She is a Fellow of Trinity College Dublin and a Fellow of the European Academy of Nursing Science (FEANS). The central theme underpinning her program of research is valuing children’s and young people’s voices and promoting their participation in matters that affect their lives. Her research focuses on: child participation rights, shared decision-making, child and family centered care, technological interventions for chronic illness management and transition from child to adult services.
