Free Screenings for Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Month

It’s Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Month and we in the Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery are celebrating by offering free head and neck cancer screenings!
Come to the Cancer Hospital, 2nd floor, on April 17th from 1pm-4pm to receive your free head and neck cancer screening!
According to the American Association for Cancer Research, “Researchers estimated that more than 68,000 men and women in the United States would be diagnosed with head and neck cancers in 2021, most with mouth, throat, or voice box cancer… The symptoms of head and neck cancers may include a lump or a sore that does not heal, a sore throat that does not go away, difficulty in swallowing, and a change or hoarseness in the voice.”
