IDEA Seminar Series: We’re Still Here: Trauma-Informed Care for Native American Populations

Please join us for the 3rd session of the IDEA Seminar Series, which will be held virtually on Tuesday, June 6th from 6pm-7:30pm titled, “We’re Still Here: Trauma-Informed Care for Native American Populations”.
This seminar will be moderated by Alicia Freeman and features Native American panelists representing a variety of tribes and professions who will offer resources and strategies to develop and implement trauma-informed care for American Indian and Alaskan Native people. The IDEA Seminar Series is a collaboration between Dr. Tyehimba Hunt-Harrison from UNC Department of Psychiatry’s Mental Health Equity Program and April Parker from UNC School of Social Work and will feature monthly seminars on mental health equity through July.
