MHI Seminar Series presents Hanrui Zhang, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Medicine/Cardiology, Columbia University, New York, NY
March 26 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Summary of Seminar: Over 300 genetic loci have been associated with coronary artery disease (CAD), but the functional mechanisms underlying many of these associations remain unclear. Among them, the LIPA locus stands out as a key candidate. This seminar will showcase a variant-to-function study of this critical locus, addressing how LIPA CAD risk alleles impact cellular function and contribute to atherosclerosis progression.
