December 4, 2024 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Summary of Seminar:  The Wang Lab primarily focuses on investigating molecular signals, including Bmp, Wnt, Fgf, Hippo, and non-coding RNAs, in cardiovascular and craniofacial development, diseases, and regeneration. Their research encompasses a wide range of approaches, including mouse genetics, cell models, physiology studies, imaging, genome editing, and next-generation sequencing techniques. This talk will mainly highlight the essential roles of the Hippo-Yap signaling pathway in embryonic heart development, adult homeostasis and regeneration of the sinoatrial node, the natural cardiac pacemaker structure.
