Panel Discussion: Conducting Health Equity Research in the Current Social and Political Environment

Recently the topics of diversity, equity, gender and theory have been brought into the sociopolitical sphere. In this panel, UNC leaders will discuss considerations in advancing health equity research in this environment, why this work matters, and the pathways forward.

Giselle Corbie, M.D., M.Sc., CHER Co-director and Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs, will moderate this panel. Panelists include Nate Thomas, Audrea Caesar, Penny Gordon Lawson and Leah Cox.
