Pharmacology Seminar Dr. Ben Goult from

January 31, 2023 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Klaus Hahn, Ph.D, is hosting a special seminar presentation featuring Professor of Biochemistry, Dr. Ben Goult, from the School of Biosciences at the University of Kent located in the United Kingdom. Dr. Goult is recognized for defining protein talin as a major mechanosensitive signaling hub, and more recently discovered that talin has “molecular memory” providing organisms with a the capability to store data through persistent alterations in protein conformation (https://www.kent.ac.uk/biosciences/people/1287/goult-ben). The title of Dr. Ben Goult’s talk is “The MeshCODE theory – does our brain store memories in binary format?”  This theory identifies a binary coding that manages memory in the brain and a physical location for where memories are stored.
