Shaping Cancer Care Research through Community Engagement: The UNC Patient Experience Research Collaborators

February 26 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

How can community engagement shape and inform cutting-edge research to improve cancer care? Join a conversation with members of the UNC Patient Experience Research Collaborators, a group that elevates the voices of older adults with lived experience of cancer by partnering in research that strengthens communication among patients and clinicians, supports shared decision-making, and advances patient-centered care. Panelists will share research topics the group is exploring and how they are working to identify opportunities not only to improve the patient experience but also to reinforce the myriad practices that make UNC exceptional.
