UNC Mini Med School
January 16 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Ever wondered how doctors think about diseases, current therapies, and groundbreaking research? Mini Medical School is being brought to you for its fifth year by UNC’s MD/PhD program. The goal of Mini Med School is to provide the local community with a look at how physicians approach diseases and medically-focused issues and what kind of research occurs in those topics at the UNC School of Medicine. All are welcome to join!
We host a monthly lecture series on different health topics. Sessions will be held both in-person at the Chapel Hill Public Library and over Zoom. Each session will be held from 6:30 – 8:00 pm (EST) on the third Tuesday of the month from January to May.
This year the dates and topics are as follows:
- Tuesday, January 16: Dementia/Alzheimer’s
- Tuesday, February 20: Outdoor Health
- Tuesday, March 19: Weight Loss/Diabetes
