Virtual Walk to End Bladder Cancer

The 2021 Virtual Walk to End Bladder Cancer will connect bladder cancer patients, caregivers, advocates, and health care professionals from around the country. Participants will enjoy an online kick-off celebration before walking wherever they are. Bladder cancer is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers in the US but research efforts remain underfunded. The event is hosted by the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network (BCAN), which has a very active local chapter in the Triangle. Many UNC providers and researchers are actively involved in BCAN at a local and national level. We hope to bring an in-person event (which includes a 5k!) back to Chapel Hill in 2022.
