Samuel Cykert, MD and Christina Yongue, MPH, MCHES will discuss the performance and results of the ACCURE and related studies that used a multi-pronged intervention designed by a community-academic partnership that led to the resolution of Black-White disparities in the treatment of curable breast and lung cancer and optimized care for everyone. The importance of the community role will be emphasized.
