World AIDS DAY

The World AIDS Day tabling event at Eastowne will be held on Monday, December 1st to raise awareness about HIV prevention, testing, and treatment, as well as to honor those impacted by HIV/AIDS. Staff and volunteers will provide educational materials about local testing and support services and engage in a spin-the-wheel activity. Attendees engaged in conversations about reducing stigma and learned about the importance of regular testing and maintaining overall sexual health. The goal of the event is to promote community engagement, visibility, and solidarity in support of World AIDS Day’s global mission to end the HIV epidemic.
