Research Forum: Understanding the Association Between Hearing Loss and Falls: Current Perspectives and Future Directions
This presentation will discuss current knowledge on the association between sensorineural hearing loss & falls as well as a proposed mechanistic model. Preliminary results on whether the association is modified by hearing healthcare intervention (i.e., hearing aids and/or cochlear implants) will also be discussed.
Machine Learning and Precision Analytics Mini-Symposium
VirtualJoin the UNC Program for Precision Medicine in Health Care (PPMH) for Machine Learning & Precision Analytics, a free virtual mini-symposium from 1-3pm on Wednesday April 14. Presenters will explore information sources, data science tools that use the information, and the application of the resulting findings to health care.
