Keeping our Promises to NC’s Kids

The 8th annual N.C. Children’s Promise Celebration returns Nov. 19 to the N.C. Children’s Hospital. Please read the following information about the event and volunteer opportunities.

Event Details
For the 2009 event, 16 Curtis Media Group radio stations will broadcast live from 5 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 19 to help benefit pediatric patients from all 100 N.C. counties. Time Warner Cable broadcasts the event on News 14 Carolina as well, allowing viewers in the Triangle and beyond to share the celebration.

We encourage everyone to stop by the Children’s Hospital lobby during the day of Nov. 19 to check out the celebration. Don’t forget that you can also keep tabs on the event via any Curtis Media Group radio station or News 14 Carolina. Volunteer Opportunities
There are still some volunteer spots open! We must fill the following time-slots:

  • 5 a.m. - 7 a.m.
  • Bilingual volunteers for all time slots (5 a.m. - 11 p.m.)
