The Carolina Center of Cancer Nanotechnology Excellence (C-CCNE) is funded by the National Cancer Institute with the intent of bringing advanced nanotechnology to bear on problems in cancer research, diagnosis and treatment.  The C-CCNE is pleased to announce the fourth cycle of its Pilot Grant Program in Cancer Nanotechnology (Carolina CCNE Phase II, FY 2013-14) in collaboration with UNC TraCS Institute (NIH CTSA). This program is open to all faculty members at UNC-CH. Current C-CCNE PIs can participate as collaborators in these Pilot Projects with no salary support.

The C-CCNE will consider brief proposals for basic or applied pilot projects involving nanotechnology in cancer research. The proposals must include innovative new approaches that are not part of the applicant’s current research program.
