Support Be Loud! Sophie Foundation benefitting UNC Hospitals teen cancer patients & families!
The Be Loud! Sophie Foundation is a charitable organization devoted to supporting teen cancer patients and their families at UNC Hospitals. The foundation's mission and work honors the life of Chapel Hill teenager Sophie Steiner, who spent months in UNC Hospitals' pediatric cancer ward fighting a valiant battle against germ-cell cancer.
Carolina Center of Nanotechnology Excellence Pilot Grant Program 2014-15
The C-CCNE is pleased to announce the fifth cycle of its Pilot Grant Program in Cancer Nanotechnology (Carolina CCNE Phase II, FY 2014-15) in collaboration with UNC TraCS Institute (NIH CTSA). This program is open to all faculty members at UNC-CH. Current C-CCNE PI’s can participate as collaborators in these Pilot Projects with no salary support.

2014 School of Medicine Nursing Recognition Awards: Call for nominations
The UNC School of Medicine and its physicians established a program in 1990 to recognize outstanding achievement by nursing professionals. These awards serve as tangible recognition of the countless vital contributions nurses make in support of patient care, teaching, research, and public service missions of the School of Medicine. The deadline to submit nominations is Monday, Sept. 15, 2014.
