The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation's annual Research Day will take place on Friday, June 6 from 1 - 4:30 p.m. in Bondurant G100.

Dr. Kevin Guskiewicz will give the Patricia C. Gregory, MD, Memorial Lecture in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Guskiewicz is the Kenan Distinguished Professor and Co-Director of the Matthew Gfeller Sport-Related Traumatic Brain Injury Research Center, Director of the Center for the Study of Retired Athletes in the Department of Exercise and Sport Science, and Senior Associate Dean for the Natural Sciences at UNC Chapel Hill.

Dr. Guskiewicz's lecture will be followed by presentations by graduating residents from PM&R and Prosthetics and Orthotics, fellows from Neuropsychology, as well as fellows from PM&R's Program on Integrative Medicine. The day also will feature updates on PM&R's Global Partnerships in Medical Rehabilitation in Haiti, Jamaica, and Nicaragua.
