Correction: Researcher identification

Last week, in the email version of Vital Signs, two researchers were noted as leads in the wrong studies.

Cynthia Feltner, MD, MPH, should have been identified as lead author of the study on home visits and patients with heart failure. The press release was titled, "Frequent in-person home visits can reduce both readmission and death for patients with heart failure."

Thomas Keyserling, MD, MPH, was the lead author of the study regarding counseling programs and patients' risk for heart disease. That press release was titled, "Web-based and live counseling programs can reduce patients’ risk for heart disease."

We apologize for the error.
