Dr. David Weber to speak about managing highly communicable respiratory diseases in health care settings

In light of the recent MERS diagnoses in Indiana and Florida, Dr. David Weber, professor of medicine and Associate Chief Medical Officer of UNC Health Care, will discuss epidemiology, symptoms and transmission of respiratory diseases, patient placement and other precautions for health care providers, management of respiratory disease cases in the health care setting, and other issues.
