Two UNC Training Programs Ranked

In a recent peer survey, UNC's Obstetrics and Gynecology and Family Practice residency training programs were ranked in top 10.

The physician network Doximity, in collaboration with U.S. News & World Report, recently published a new peer review survey of more than 17,000 physicians in the United States.

UNC rankings:

Surveyed physicians were selected from the Doximity database of verified physician profiles. They were asked to evaluate 3,691 residency training programs based on more than 50,000 peer nominations. The survey asked each physician to name up to five residency programs in their specific medical specialty that offer the best clinical training.

In order to participate in U.S. News & World Report surveys (e.g., Best Hospitals), physicians must join Doximity and verify their online profiles. To do this, visit, search for your name, and follow the prompts to verify your identity and join Doximity.
