amfAR: Mathilde Krim Fellowships in Basic Biomedical Research

amfAR has released a call for proposals for the Mathilde Krim Fellowships in Basic Biomedical Research. amfAR Fellowships aims to facilitate the exceptional postdoctoral researcher's transition to a productive and independent long-term career in HIV/AIDS research. Awards are up to $150,000. Letters of intent are due May 14, 2015 by 3 p.m.

amfAR Mathilde Krim Fellowships in Basic Biomedical Research

amFAR's Mathilde Krim Fellowships aim to facilitate the exceptional postdoctoral researcher's transition to a productive and independent long-term career in HIV/AIDS research and support two (2) years of postdoctoral biomedical research (phase 1). The fellowship also provides the possibility of one (1) additional year of research funding during the first year of an independent research position (phase 2). 

Applicants must hold a research or clinical doctorate completed between three to six years prior to April 17, 2015 and positioned to secure an independent research position no later than March 2018. Maximum funding for the fellowship is $150,000 and includes 10% indirect costs.
