American Federation for Aging Research/Glenn Foundation for Medical Research: 2016 Breakthroughs in Gerontology Awards

AFAR and the Glen Foundation are partnering to provide support research projects that build on early discoveries int he fields of human aging and health and show translational potential. Awards are up to $200,000 over two years. The Letter of Intent deadline is Dec. 15, 2015.

The American Federation for Aging Research and the Glenn Foundation for Medical Research are partnering on the 2016 Breakthrough in Gerontology Awards. The program is designed to provide support to a small number of research projects that build on early discoveries in the fields of human aging and health, and show translational potential for clinically relevant strategies, treatments and therapeutics. Research can be conducted at any nonprofit setting in the US, with priority given to proposals that have a near-term potential for translation. Applicants must be full-time faculty members at the assistant professor level or higher.
