CurePsP: Investigator-Initiated Research Projects

CurePsP is acceping applications for research projects that help generate an integrated picture of progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) and related disorders at the molecular, cellular, and clinical levels. Successful proposals must align with the Foundation's goal of supporting research that can advance the understanding, treatment, and prevention of PSP and other diseases. Award amount is up to $100,000 over three years. Application deadline is July 15.

CurePSP is accepting applications for research projects that help generate an integrated picture of Progressive supranuclear Palsy and related disorders at the molecular, cellular and clinical levels. Successful proposals must align with the Foundation’s goal of supporting research that can advance the understanding, treatment, and prevention of progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), corticobasal degeneration (CBD), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis-parkinsonism-dementia complex (ALS/PDC) of Guam and/or Guadeloupian taupathy and other atypical Parkinsonian disorders and taupathies such as frontotemporal dementia, multiple system atrophy, or chronic traumatic encephalopathy. Award does not cover indirect costs and CurePSP expects the PI’s institution to provide the required physical facilities and administrative services normally available in the institution. All applications submitted by the deadline will be reviewed by CurePSP’s Scientific Advisory Board, which functions as the Peer-Review Committee.
