Dravet Syndrome Foundation: Multiple RFPs

The Dravet Syndrome Foundation is accepting applications for two grant-funding opportunities: Postdoctoral research fellowships and research grants. Award amounts will vary depending on the RFP program. Applications must align with the Foundation's research interests in Dravet Syndrome or related epilepsies. Application deadline (for both RFPs) is September 6.

Postdoctoral Research Fellowship
Award amount up to $50,000 for one year
The Dravet Syndrome Foundation is accepting applications to support full-time research. Applications must hold an MD, PhD, DSc or equivalent degree and be a clinical or postdoctoral fellow before or by the start date of the fellowship. Applicants holding the rank of adjunct professor, research assistant, assistant or associate professor are not eligible, nor are gradate students, medical students, or medical residents. Individuals receiving a fellowship from another source are also ineligible for DSF funds. Applicants do not have to be US citizens. 

Research Grant
Award amount up to $75,000 per year for up to two years
The Dravet Syndrome Foundation is accepting applications to support research directly relevant to Dravet Syndrome or related epilepsies. Applicants must be available to present findings at the annual DSF Research Roundtable before AES. Application Deadline: September 6. Award notifications will be made in late November 2016, with earliest project start date of January 1, 2017. Application Guidelines for the awards.
