UNC physicians update patient education book: Learning to Live with Heart Failure

UNC Health Care providers have recently completed a fourth edition of the patient education guide, which aims to provide information for patients with heart failure. For the first time, a Spanish-language version will also be made available.

The book's editors are Carla A. Sueta, MD, PhD, professor of medicine in the Division of Cardiology, and Jo Ellen Rodgers, PharmD, associate Professor in Eshelman School of Pharmacy. It has contributions from UNC Health Care providers from UNC Medical Center and UNC Rex Healthcare, as well as the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.

“This has been a multidisciplinary achievement and I am excited that that this version be available to all of our affiliated hospitals and clinics.”  said Sueta.

The book is available as a paper copy and can be ordered from the Print Shop as well as a free PDF and can be downloaded here.
