Children's Cardiomyopathy Foundation: CCF Research Grant

The Children's Cardiomyopathy Foundation is accepting letters of interest to provide seed funding to investigators for the testing of initial hypotheses and collection of preliminary data to help secure long-term funding by the NIH and other major granting institutions. Award amount is up to $50,000 for one year. Submission deadline is June 15.

The Children's Cardiomyopathy Foundation is accepting applications to provide seed funding to investigators for the testing of initial hypotheses and collection of preliminary data to help secure long-term funding by the NIH and other major granting institutions. Eligible applicants must hold an MD, PhD, or equivalent degree and reside in the US (or Canada). The investigator must have a faculty appointment and have the ability to conduct independent research with publications in established peer-reviewed medical and scientific journals. Funding is only for direct costs.

Following the completion of the proposed one-year study, a second year of funding may be requested by the applicant. More information about CCF’s funding considerations can be found here: CCF Research Funding Considerations.

LOI Deadline: June 15 by 5:00 p.m. Invited full proposals will be due Sept. 9. Anticipated funding decisions will be announced in January 2017. Read more about the Application Guidelines for the award.
