Dan Ariely, PhD, a James B. Duke Professor of Psychology and Behavioral Economics at Duke University. Ariely earned his M.A. and Ph.D. in the UNC Cognitive Psychology Program (1994 and 1996, respectively) and earned a second doctorate degree in Business Administration at Duke. Ariely was featured in a 2015 documentary film, “(Dis)Honesty: The Truth About Lies,” currently available on Netflix. He’s given several TED Talks, with over 8 million views, including Are We In Control Of Our Own Decisions?  and Our Buggy Moral Code. Ariely has also written several books, including “Irrationally Yours” and “The (Honest) Truth about Dishonesty.”
