Stop by and share your thoughts on SOM communications

The School of Medicine is conducting a comprehensive analysis of our current internal communications efforts, and reviewing best practices at other academic medical centers. We will use the findings to enhance our internal communications efforts across the School of Medicine. Drop-in sessions will be held for those interested in offering their perspective on this effort.

As part of this review, we would like to hear from our faculty, staff, researchers, and learners about what’s working with our current communications process and what we could do better. Current internal communications vehicles include Vital Signs, faculty and student listservs, as well as digital signage and displays. Kathleen Lewton, an accredited communications professional with more than 40 years’ experience working with academic medical centers and health, is assisting with the review.

We have set up three “drop in” times where you can stop by G022 Bondurant and share your feedback with Kathleen.

  • Tuesday, April 18, 9-9:45
  • Wednesday, April 19, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 20, 4-5:45 p.m.

An additional session has been added. It will take place in 7002 Marsico Hall:

  • Tuesday, April 18, 4 - 5:30 p.m.

Your input, opinions, and ideas are essential to ensuring that we understand the needs and perspectives of all our colleagues at the School of Medicine.  If you are unable to attend the times above and would like to provide feedback, or if you have questions, please contact Amy Austell, who is managing this important project.

Thank you in advance for your input!
