Construction impacts pedestrian traffic between Mary Ellen Jones and Thurston-Bowles buildings

The creation of a new elevated pedestrian plaza between the Mary Ellen Jones and Thurston-Bowles buildings has begun. Demolition work started with the removal of the planters beginning on Aug. 3, and will last for around two weeks. The barricades will remain on the Thurston-Bowles side of the area until the new elevated plaza is completed and in service.
