Invitation to participate in the UNC Hospitals Physician/Advanced Practice Provider Survey

Read a letter from Thomas Ivester, MD, and Matt Mauro, MD, announcing the launch of the UNC Hospitals Physician/Advanced Practice Provider Survey.

Dear Colleagues,

Medical staff engagement is a top priority at UNC Hospitals, and it is critical for us to know the issues that are important to you. In this regard, we are pleased to engage in a system-wide effort to assess clinician satisfaction and engagement.

All clinicians will be invited to take part in the survey.  This survey is administered by the Advisory Board and contains some questions which are asked of all participants in the survey, allowing for robust benchmarking of our results. We have added some questions which are unique to UNC Hospitals.

The purpose of the survey is to learn how you view the practice environment at the UNC Medical Center and to understand the drivers of engagement. The lessons learned will allow us to enhance programs and policies to make UNC Hospitals the best place to practice.

The survey is completely confidential. To ensure confidentiality, the Advisory Board will provide us with only aggregated results. Your identity will be carefully protected by the Advisory Board; and your privacy will be maintained in all data shared with UNC Hospitals. The Advisory Board will only use your name or email address to contact you to participate in this survey.

On May 15, 2017 you will receive a web link in an email from surveys@advisory.com, directing you to the survey. The survey is easy to complete, and should take no more than 5-10 minutes. If you have any questions about this survey, please contact Carol Edenton at carol.edenton@unchealth.unc.edu or 919-966-0598 or the Advisory Board at https://advisorysurveys.com/help to view commonly asked questions.

Thank you in advance for your participation in this study.

Sincerely yours,
