The Well-Being Index: Tracking Wellness Over Time

Just over a year ago, the UNC School of Medicine launched the Well-Being Index, an online self-assessment that measures stress, provides valuable resources, and tracks progress over time. Kick off the New Year by logging into the Well-Being Index today!

Just over a year ago, the UNC School of Medicine launched the Well-Being Index, an online self-assessment tool that measures stress in just nine questions. The Well-Being Index predicts risks such as fatigue, depression, burnout, anxiety/stress, mental/physical quality of life, and work-life balance.

Upon taking the self-assessment, users receive immediate, confidential feedback on their overall well-being as compared to peers, and access to targeted resources aligned to the risk dimensions.

The Well-Being Index is one part of the comprehensive set of wellness initiatives at UNC. Data gathered from the Index provide important metrics for you personally, and for the institution (as de-identified data). This allows us to assess our effectiveness in addressing these important issues.

Please take five minutes to use the Well Being Index assessment today. All scores and personal information are confidential. To take the self-assessment anonymously, follow the steps below:
