Nancy Bagatell and Linn Wakeford Inducted into UNC School of Medicine Academy of Educators
Wakeford in an associate professor in the Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, where Bagatell serves as program director. The division is housed in the Department of Allied Health Sciences (DAHS).
IHQI Speaker Series: Sustaining and Spreading Improvement
The Institute for Healthcare Quality Improvement (IHQI) will host its next Speaker Series event on 6/26 at 12 noon in Bondurant G-100. Panel speakers include Laura Hanson, MD, Christine Hedges, PhD, RN, and Lavinia Kolarczyk, MD. Speakers will share their successes and challenges with sustaining and spreading quality improvement initiatives at UNC Medical Center.
UNC EM Team Wins Sonogames
The UNC Department of Emergency Medicine residency team participated in the annual Sonogames competition at SAEM. Out of 71 teams they came in first place!

This faculty development program is specifically designed for individuals who have responsibility for educational programs or courses, or whose work includes a focus on teaching and who seek to develop their skills in that area.
