Sign up for Carolina Men Care and Get a Candy Bar!

On Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, the UNC Beacon Child and Family Program will celebrate its annual Carolina Men Care campaign.

From 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Oct. 14, we are calling all UNC Health Care males to sign up to say that abuse is wrong.

We believe that having UNC Health Care men serve as role models will be an important step in ongoing efforts to put an end to intimate partner violence. On that day, there will be resource tables about the Beacon Program and its community counterpart, the Family Violence Prevention Center of Orange County.

It's easy to sign up. You can even sign up before the event and we will send you a candy bar. Please visit the UNC Hospitals Beacon Child and Family Program website.  Then click on "Sign Up for Carolina Men Care." Next, click on the email address to indicate that you are participating. Please send us your mailing address, either internal or external, and we will send you a candy bar.
