2-Step Verification required for Office 365 in November
2-Step Verification will soon be required to access Office 365, which includes email, calendar and OneDrive, among many other applications. School of Medicine faculty and staff will be required to use 2-Step in early November. The mandatory 2-Step for Office 365 will be a phased rollout from November 1st - 8th. In preparation for this, several dedicated 2-Step Help Clinics will be available throughout the School of Medicine.

UNC School of Medicine seeks Transition to Residency Course Co-Director
The UNC School of Medicine is seeking an educator with passion for medical student education and curriculum design who has an understanding of what fourth-year medical students need in the last several months to prepare for residency. The co-director will work closely with the other Transition to Residency co-director and staff to refine the curriculum of the four-week long Transitions to Residency (TTR) course.

UNC School of Medicine honors Distinguished Alumni and Faculty
As part of the UNC School of Medicine's Spring Alumni Weekend, the annual Distinguished Medical Alumni and Faculty Awards were presented. This year's Distinguished Medical Alumni honorees were Leon Herndon, MD, Kate Queen, MD, and Lane Ormand, MD. This year's Distinguished Medical Faculty honoree was Thomas Griggs, MD.
