'Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less' class begins Sept. 9

"Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less" is a 15-week management program that works. The next sessions begin Monday, Sept. 9, at 12:30 p.m. in Room B101 Physicians Office Building. State Health Plan members enroll for only $30; attend 10 of the 15 sessions and get $ 25 back!

"Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less" focuses on lifestyle habits that help you achieve a healthy weight. Losing weight is only a small part of your journey—feeling better, having more energy, and becoming more mindful are all positive changes you can expect. The class is built on strategies proven to work, including mindful eating and physical activity.

  • 3-5 minute physical activity break
  • Ways concepts can be adopted by the whole family
  • Opportunity for sharing and celebrating
  • Suggestions for living mindfully
  • Guided discussion of strategy for the week

Each participant receives:

  • Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less Magazine—a full-color magazine with recipes and more.
