Cascade Learning Manager Recognition

We would like to acknowledge managers who have done a great job helping you learn about Health Care Reform and material discussed at the recent Leadership Development Learning Session.

In late 2011, managers attended a Leadership Development Learning Session: Health Care Reform: Leading for the Future (held Oct. 18, 2011). One of their goals following the session was to share their learning with you using a process called Cascade Learning.

We would like to acknowledge managers who have done a great job helping you learn about and make relevant to your department, the following information:

  • Become familiar with the basic components of the Affordable Care Act
  • Identify how UNC Health Care is responding to health care reform
  • Increase awareness of ways to respond to concerns from patients and staff that shows we are partners with insurers, employers, and other stakeholders
  • Make suggestions for decreasing costs while maintaining the quality of care and services
