The Core Team training program includes classes in Wisconsin led by Epic instructors, eLearning courses, exams, and project work toward achieving Epic Certification in specific applications. Completion of training for a specific application requires multiple trips to the Epic Training Campus. Our Core Team will work toward completing these requirements during the next few months, with the most demanding learning taking place in January through April.

Throughout the training program in Wisconsin, Core Team members will return to the Triangle to regroup with their teams in Raleigh and Chapel Hill and continue working toward implementation of our Epic@UNC enterprise information system.

Trainers from Epic also will travel to Chapel Hill during this time period to work with executives, clinical leaders, and subject matter experts from across the UNC Health Care System.

You can learn more about the Epic products we plan to implement at UNC Health Care on our Epic@UNC Intranet page (login required if accessed outside of work locations).
