Chef Rose from Il Palio to visit UNC Hospitals as part of Guest Chef Program

UNC Health Care’s Nutrition & Food Services team is delighted to welcome Il Palio’s Executive Chef Adam Rose, who will join UNC’s Executive Chef Shawn Dolan and Director Angelo Mojica at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26, to provide a cooking demonstration and offer a lunch special for our patients, visitors, and co-workers on patient menus and in the Terrace Café.

The cooking demonstration is scheduled from 11 am - 1 pm, in the lobby of the N.C. Children’s Hospital. Chefs Dolan and Rose will demonstrate preparing Il Palio’s Buttermilk Fried Shrimp Salad. This delicious lunch special will be featured on Patient Menus and available to employees and visitors in the Terrace Café!

This is the first time a hospital has partnered in a guest chef program like this, and we’re extremely excited to offer this opportunity to our patients and staff as part of Nutrition & Food Services efforts to lead the health care industry in providing restaurant quality food to patients, co-workers, and visitors.
