To ensure we are prepared for ICD-10, ISD will run an update beginning Friday evening, Aug. 28, to update our Diagnosis Records in Epic@UNC. This update is expected to be complete by Monday, Aug. 31. You will be able to use Epic@UNC normally during this time. Please note the actions that may be required from providers for a small number (~2%) of diagnosis codes in certain situations.

Domestic water shutdown in Neurosciences Hospital

At 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9, the domestic water system from the 3rd floor to the 8th floor of the Neurosciences Hospital will be shut down for a system tie-in for Bone Marrow Transplant Unit project. During this time water will not be available for flushing, hand washing or drinking on these floors. The UNC Hospitals plumbing shop will provide water on each floor for flushing plumbing fixtures, as needed, and bottled water for patient and staff use. The shutdown will last three to four hours.
