New ‘No Show’ letter closes loop with authorizing providers

Starting April 4, a new “No Show” letter in Epic@UNC can be sent to the authorizing provider when scheduling staff close a referral for which a patient did not show and is unable to be rescheduled. This letter helps communicate to the authorizing provider that the patient did not make the scheduled visit and is unable to be rescheduled.

This letter can be sent once the referral scheduling status is changed to “Patient No Show – Unable to Reschedule” and the referral is closed.
